Who We Are

Biogas Recovery Experts

WC Energy Systems develops biogas treatment and recovery systems that remove contaminants and impurities from biogas so it can be used as a fuel for the production of energy. Our treatment systems are innovative, tested, customer proven, and efficient biogas treatment technologies. These treatment systems provide solutions for the biogas-to-energy industry that offer cost-effective implementation and rapid return on investment.

WC Energy Systems delivers turnkey biogas treatment systems that meet the most stringent specifications for clean gas and liquid streams in the industry.

Misson

WC Energy Systems' mission is to create the most innovative and sustainable biogas treatment solutions today for tomorrow's environmental issues at the lowest cost for the biogas-to-energy industry.

History

WC Energy Systems first began as HIPCO, a small gas and liquid purification industry start-up, in 1979. HIPCO used activated carbon for remediation media, provided gas and liquid filtration and purification in the Puget Sound area throughout the 1980s.

In 2015, WC Energy Systems was created from HIPCO to further engage in the gas and liquid purification industry with a focus on the biogas recovery to energy market. Building on tried and true technologies employed in the 1980s and early 1990s, WC Energy Systems expanded its scope and services to purification of biogas from landfills and anaerobic digesters.

Today, WC Energy Systems is involved in the design, engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of both conventional and regenerable biogas treatment systems for the biogas-to-energy industry. Our systems and technologies offer reliable, cost-effective solutions to the needs of the industry.
